100% reliable, truly global cover in real time with the Iridium network. A network of 66 active satellites mean no ‘blind spots’, so there are no gaps in transmission. Other systems using inferior satellite networks often have to store data points while waiting for a satellite to come into view – meaning the data is only as accurate as the last transmitted GPS point, which could be up a long way from where your aircraft actually is.
The first portable system
Spidertracks was the first truly portable satellite tracking system. Designed in New Zealand by pilots, the spider unit combines the GPS, antenna and satellite communication in one completely self-contained stylish box – and is only 360g in weight. Because it’s portable it can be shared between aircraft with no additional installation costs, giving you flexibility and the ability to minimise the number of units you need for a fleet of aircraft.

Two-way communication
